I have just coded a picture upload add-on for the forum - so now you can upload a picture and display it in your posts and replies. There is a maximum size limit of 600 x480 pixels and 500kb (1/2 Mb) per picture - so please resize your pictures before uploading.
I am continually trying to improve the forums - so expect minor changes and updates.
Your opinion and ideas are welcome.

I take it you meant to say KB instead of MB;it shows you're human, I like it!
Thanks for all your hard work kev.

Thank you for pointing out that slight oversight of mine - that could of been extreemly costly - thank you - i have edited it now - very keen eye you have.
Just because I own and run the forum - doesn't mean I have my act together - its all learning, mistakes and hard work.
LOL - I should write a forum on mistakes i made in running a forum site. |

...this might be irrelevant, but this forum has got my age wrong, also the number of posts I've made....I'd put the latter down to the number of posts I'd tried to keep the size of this 'image' to it's right size for this forum!, even though it's well below it's limit... being only 180x135 pixels! |

Hey there Kevin, what size do you think is a more appropriate size for a pic to be uploaded on this forum? I can make some changes if needed and reasonable - times are a changing so bigger pics are a certainty - but how they look in this forum and the server load/space is another thought.
Cheers |

Hi Kev, no I wouldn't have a clue, I just noticed that my 'post count' on the forum jumped further than it should...no big deal!quote: I can make some changes if needed and reasonable - times are a changing so bigger pics are a certainty - but how they look in this forum and the server load/space is another thought.
I have no problems with bigger pics or other changes Kev, just curious, thanks!.
